About 2023 Rip Curl Cup Padang Padang Trials
The window for the Rip Curl Cup Local Trials has officially opened! 32 of Indonesia’s best local surfers will compete for the final 4 spots in the Main Event at Padang Padang. The Trials window runs for a full month starting July 1st.
The Trials Final will be streamed LIVE from the channel via @ripcurlasia IG Live. Stay tuned for the latest competition calls and all the action from Padang!

This year’s Trials is a one-day Competition 32-Man Draw and will be held at Padang Padang on the best day of waves from 1st July until the 30th July.
This is a 4 week waiting period and it’s highly likely you will be surfing empty Pumping Padang Padang.

- Top 4 Finalists will advance into the Rip Curl Cup Padang Padang Invitational Main Event 2023
We will be monitoring swells and will ensure the best conditions for this prestigious Trials Event.
